Asia stock markets slightly increased in general, supporting Hang Seng Index torise modestly on Tuesday. HSI closed at 20,504 points at noon, increasing 63points. HSCEI closed at 8,841 points, gaining 34 points. Turnover further shrankto $51.9 billion. The railway sector performed well, among which China RailwayConstruction(1186)surged 4.1% and China Railway(0390)gained 3.4%.

    Moreover, Link REITs(0823)disposed of 7 shopping malls in exchange of nearly$2 billion net proceeds. The stock slightly rose 0.4% and closed at $46.75.

    A Russian media quoted sources saying that Russia and Saudi Arabia reached anagreement to freeze oil production volume, oil price continued its recent rally androse 4.5% on Tuesday. Besides, US banking stocks also performed well ahead oftheir result announcement later this week. US stock market rose sharply onTuesday, the Dow and the Nasdaq closed 165 points (to 17,721) and 39 points (to4,872) higher respectively.

    Local blue chips performed well in the US ADR market, it is expected that HKstock market will open higher today, while Hang Seng Index might alsobreakthrough 100 Day SMA’s resistance. On the other hand, China will announcefirst quarter GDP and other major economic data on Friday, which will be marketmajor focus.
