The risk to consensus index earnings forecasts for 2016 now looks containedpost heavy cuts year-to-date. But the market’s expected earnings rebound in2017 is no slam dunk. Singapore’s expected earnings growth is also thelowest in the region, and we retain our defensive bias in terms of our stockselection (top picks on left, model portfolio in Fig 4).
